Instructions to Authors

The full papers are published in a B5 book, in a volume of up to 20 printers sheets (320 pages) and circulation of 101 copies, preliminary prepared to respond to type-settings requirements. The maximum length of a paper should not exceed 10 standard pages.

The journal is published also at the web-site of the conference “Innovations in woodworking industry and engineering design” http://scjournal-inno.com//, in protected Adobe Acrobat (.pdf ) format.

The papers should be submitted in electronic format and in printed form on A4 paper with no automatic page numbering. The computer format should be MS Word (.doc), single columns, with inserted equations and figures and no headers or footers. The papers should have the following format settings:

  • Page Setup: Margins Top: 2,5 cm; Bottom: 2,5 cm; Left: 2,5 cm; Right: 2,5 cm; Gutter: 0 cm; Gutter position: Left; Orientation: Portrait; Multiple Pages: Normal; Paper size: A4; Width: 21 cm; Height: 29,7 cm;
  • Layout From Edge: Header: 0 cm; Footer 0 cm;
  • Page Layout: Page Layout One Column; Font Times New Roman 12 pt;
  • Paragraph: 1.5 lines.

It is allowed to submit papers prepared with LaTeX (.pdf; .pcs), but with strict observation of the above defined format settings.

The figures should be drawn using standard computer and graphic format and should be placed in the body of the text or right after it.

The layout of the papers should be as follows: Title in capital letters (Centered; 14pt;Bold), - blank row; Name(s) of the author(s), name and surname without scientific ranks or titles; author affiliation – workplace and e-mail (Centered; 12 pt;); - Abstract up to 10 rows (Justified; 12 pt); - Key words – up to 2 rows ( Justified 12 pt); - blank row – Body text (Justified; 12 pt; Regular) – References (Justified; 12pt; Regular). For authors’ convenience the Template could be used.

The paper should have clearly separated (with subtitles) introduction, state of the art, methodology, experimental part (if applicable), numerical part, and concluding part with description of claims for scientific contributions, innovation and originality.

Papers should be submitted of the scientific journal “Innovations in woodworking and engineering design” to the Editor-in-chief or to the Technical Secretary of editorial board by a file in electronic format. Every paper will be reviewed by the editors and will be evaluated by a competent specialist. The reviews will be done using the Protocol evaluation form which could be found at the journal web-site.
